I want to let you ALL know that I am most grateful for ALL of you who have been such Dear friends to me not only this last year, but the last few years before this one as well.:hug:  

I intend to show my LOVE to ALL of you in the coming year as BEST I can.

I am sorry if I have not shown my gratitude in my time spent here at dA in the past few years as BEST I could, for most cetainly I haven't!

~I wanted to take some time today to pay tribute to a musical genius and legend who was tragically shot and killed by a crazed lunatic 28 years ago today.

~His death deeply effected sooo... many lives in a bad way, but his life deeply effected sooo... many lives in a GREAT way! :peace:

All Those Years Ago...

Lately I have been thinking about all that happened back then in my life. Not only have I been thinking back to my days onboard the USS Wasp (LHD-1) in the United States Navy. but also the few years prior to as well as just after my discharge from the United States Navy. I hope you like these scans of some photos that I took with my Minolta 3000i that I purchased used from a fellow Navy buddy from those incredible days in my life.

In this latest journal I have decided to feature young children.
I especially enjoy photographing young children because they are so natural and have such great emotion. Their beautiful faces bring such joy to our hearts when we see their youthful innocence and happiness being expressed.
