Artist's Comments

I took this photo with my Minolta Maxxum 3000i, looking forward on the starboard side, at sea onboard the USS Inchon (LPH-12) during a Med cruise in 1992. I was very pleased with how this photo turned out, it is a fave of the photo's that I have taken, but then again I do have a biased opinion here.

These days in my life seem almost surreal to me now, yet the memories are SOOO... GREAT that they will never be erased! If ever in your life you do have the chance to travel around the world in such a way don't hesitate to do it you won't regret your decision!

Excellent photo. I can see why you like it.

Are those fishing poles sticking out the side of the ship?

I was just kidding about the curb feelers as I think you figured out judging by your response. I just thought I should let you know because I didn't want to leave you fishing for answers. hahaha
In all seriousness I am not sure what those are for but I do know that they are not fishing poles. Now you've got me wondering, If I ever do find out what they are for I'll be sure to let you know.
